Little heartbreaker
November 14, 2007
I was so excited to meet this little guy, now three months old. I had such fun with his parents, Mylinh and Drew, during their maternity shoot and couldn’t wait to see who Mylinh was brewing inside.
And what a heartbreaker he is. Look at the smile on this one:
The quiet moments are the sweetest.
This little one is up for anything.
A moment in between. Little ones require a little extra TLC.
Welcome to San Diego
November 11, 2007
This family has just moved from Austin, Texas a few weeks ago (welcome to San Diego!) and little “A” has already developed a healthy love for the beach and the waves. Because she is so fascinated with the water, we started our shoot on the bluffs above the beach so I had a chance of being interesting to her.
Miss “A” is turning two in just a few weeks. She is just a few weeks younger than my own daughter. I love how kids start to use language to describe the way they see the world at this age. Finally, we get a little peek into their fascinating worlds. Don’t you want to know what little “A” is thinking here?
City slickers for a week
November 8, 2007
We spent a whirlwind week in Hong Kong and are just now emerging from the jet lag fog. My camera stayed buried in my backpack for most of the trip. There simply wasn’t time to dig it out between eating the most tastilicious meals and shopping, hauling the stroller/kid up and down flights of subway stairs, and trying not to get run over by buses on the streets or hordes of people on the sidewalk.
So I’ll just post a few snapshots, the first of which my hubby took.
Our almost two year old daughter checking the map for us while riding what she called the “tunnel train”:
There are “Survivor” challenges going on all over the city, all the time, every day. This one was to build a bamboo scaffolding while supported by one knee hooked around the structure being built…
…two stories above a busy street. I put a red circle around where the guy was dangling off the scaffolding.
Reindeer ears
November 6, 2007
Daisy wore these reindeer ears like she was a real reindeer! A few from a mini-shoot I did for my friends Karen and Dean. Karen and I have been friends since junior high and it was she who encouraged me to start a photography business and gave me the push to just do it (nike is so wise).
Before….
