HOLIDAY CARD TEMPLATES (these would look great as birth announcements too-minus a snowflake or two)
Take a moment to read through the short descriptions of card templates. You will soon notice the trend that anything goes, text is customizable, design elements are interchangeable. Each card will be unique with your pictures, words, and design choices.
First, what is the difference between the “Photographic card” and the “Press printed card”?
The photographic card is your card design printed on photo paper and is one sided only. Sizes available are 4X6 ($1.00/ea), 5X5 ($1.25/ea), 5X7 ($1.25/ea), and 4X8 ($1.25/ea). Photographic cards are sold in increments of 5 with a minimum purchase of 25.
The press printed card is printed on a textured watercolor art paper and is either a 2 sided flat card or a folded card. Sizes available for a flat card are 4X5.5 ($1.50/ea), 5X5 ($1.75/ea), and 5X7 ($1.75/ea). The folded card is 5X7 only ($2.25/ea). Press printed cards are sold in packages of 25.

- 5X7 FOLDED CARD
The following are 5 super cool templates I bought which are designed for a folded 5X7 card ($2.25/ea). The text is customizable, as well as photo placement. For example, photos may be added to the inside of the card where not shown in the design templates.
These templates can also be converted into a flat 5X7 card- 2 sided press printed card ($1.75/ea) or a 1 sided photographic card ($1.25/ea).

- The 4X8 STORYBOARD TEMPLATE
This design is a card version of the popular 10X20 storyboard. Three photographs of your choice are laid out across a horizontal or vertical 4X8 card. You write your own message above or below the photos. Available as a photographic card only. ($1.25/ea)
You will see how I have borrowed design elements from the cards above. You can choose to do the same if you like.
By the way, everyone is “The Smith Family” in the following examples, but noone is actually named Smith!

- THE STORYBOARD TEMPLATE IN OTHER SIZES
The storyboard card is available in other card sizes. Here is an example of a flat 5X5 card. Notice how I’ve borrowed a design element from a master template above to accent the text square of the card. Another option is to have a fourth photo and write text elsewhere on the card. You name it! (press printed $1.75/ea or photographic card $1.25/ea)
Here’s an example of a flat 5X7 card (press printed ($1.75/ea) or photographic paper ($1.25/each)
- CUSTOMIZABLE BACKGROUND DESIGN/COLOR FOR STORYBOARD CARDS
This applies to any size card.
The example below is of another storyboard design option of up to four photos stretching from edge to edge of a 4X8 card.
Custom cards can also have background colors to match a color in the photo or use a background design from the original templates.
For example, the background color of this card borrows the color from Isabel’s dress.
The background here borrows design elements from template #1.
- WHEN SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER?
Place your order by November 15 to guarantee that you’ll have your cards by December 12. I cannot guarantee a delivery time for any orders placed after November 15. So start writing to me now with your ideas.
If you have a November shoot scheduled, I will make special arrangements with you personally to make sure you have your cards on time.
